let your students decide sometimes, because they must own what they learn
be part of the team; don't just dispense knowledge, rather brainstorm and get students to reinforce the concepts you wish them to learn
use technology, because it is a tech world and it can make learning more motivating
apply your teaching to the real world, so your students can see the purpose of their effort
